"Kyoku-shi", made by hand, one sheet at a time

Since we founded in 1953, we are still making washi by hand, one sheet at a time.
The thick and strong washi with the technique called "Tamezuki" are suite for business cards and postcards. And we make diploma papers putting the school's emblem on it.
In 2010, I certified as a traditional craftsman because the technique of "Tamezuki" was recognized. I have been showing my techniques to elementary schools in Echizen City at events to get to know Echizen washi well.
